Late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) offers the most pleasant weather for exploring, with fewer crowds than the peak summer months. Summers can be quite hot, but that’s when the river clubs truly shine.
Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) is well-connected. The A1 Mini Bus offers a direct, affordable route to Slavija Square. Taxis are also readily available; agree on a price or use a reputable ride-hailing app to avoid inflated fares.
For traditional Serbian fare, Skadarlija is a classic choice, but also seek out local 'pekara' (bakeries) for delicious 'burek'. For modern dining with river views, Beton Hala offers excellent restaurants. Don't leave without trying 'ćevapi'!
