Alpha Kentaurus emerged from the heart of Central Italy in 2023, with a mission clear from day one: to leave an indelible mark on the contemporary rock scene. From the outset, the band focused on writing original material and competing on major stages, including the international Tour Music Fest. These early steps allowed the group to build a solid fanbase, culminating in the success of their debut single "Indifference," which surpassed 1,000 streams in just two weeks. However, it was when the challenge came that the band truly demonstrated their mettle. After the release of "Farewell," Alpha Kentaurus realized that to live up to their artistic vision, inspiration alone wasn't enough: technical excellence was needed. Evolution and the New Identity Rejecting the compromises of amateur production, the band embarked on a journey of professional growth that led to a decisive encounter with Superbia Management. This synergy marked a turning point, providing the project with strategic guidance and high-level artistic production, finally unleashing the group's true potential. The result of this metamorphosis is the new single "I Should Not But I Want," released on April 8th. The song, supported by a visionary music video, defines the band's current aesthetic: "A tormented soul, suspended between light and shadow that seem to belong to another, almost otherworldly reality." Today, Alpha Kentaurus are no longer just a promising Italian rock band, but a fully-fledged entity, ready to draw the listener into their universe of sonic power and introspective depth.
