About
Hertz Horn is the industrial-tinged garage rock passion project of singer and multi-instrumentalist Steve Dearnley. Following over 30 years performing in bands, tracking dozens of releases, and playing hundreds of gigs, Dearnley launched a solo pursuit when new lineups fell through. Backed only by session drummer Joe Lazarus, Dearnley handles all vocals, writing, and instrumentation himself. Dropping on June 19th 2026, the new Hertz Horn EP, Totemic, seamlessly blends genre-hopping sonic threads with lyrics rooted in sharp social commentary and narrative poetry.
