About
Increment is the child of Sasha Flack, James Mulreany, Jake Lombardi, Ben Scampoli and Zac Maddaford based in Perth, Australia. The five piece band is setting out to tell the story of their lives growing up, sparing and adding detail to create a fictional narrative. Increment blends rock, indie, electronic, pop and emo. Elements which the two frontmen utilise to create witty, surreal, self reflective and often deprecating lyrics. The band first released in May 2022 with a lot more to come… Their first release “80” is an indie rock banger about the dejection and impulsiveness that’s felt after falling out with a partner. The track houses catchy leads, an anthem like chorus with constant diverging musical elements throughout to keep the listener invested. The song was written in Summer 2021 and is now available on all streaming platforms since May 2022.
