About
Kaminski is what happens when art-pop gets lost in a dream and wakes up in a Dutch cathedral. This Dutchman navigates the quiet tension between beauty and distortion. Drawing from indie folk, chamber-pop, and even prog-rock, his songs often start delicately -reverent even- before unraveling into something raw, overwhelming, and emotionally precise. There are shades of Bowie’s shapeshifting, Radiohead’s unrest, and Sufjan Stevens’ hushed intimacy - but Kaminski never lingers long in one sound. His music is full of contrasts: nostalgic but strange, cinematic yet grounded, with lyrics that reach backward while sound pushes forward. Art-pop for people who like their beauty a little bruised. Store in a cool, dry place.
