About
Although everything you want to know about me is in my songs, I can tell you my name is Erika Bach, I was born in Germany, raised in Australia and now living in Greece. My musical history comprises of a goth band called Ape the Cry (Melb AUS), an alt rock band, Hard Candy (Melb AUS) and a deviation into dark electronica with British musician/producer Barry Snaith (TIJ) in our duo m1nk I write and record music between Athens Greece and a small island in the Ionian called Ithaca, in my mobile studio, Strudel Girl, and I try to release an album/ep at least once a year. My soft spot in music leans toward grungy garage, but I am equally drawn to music that expells some dark melancholy in the form of a good melody. My lyrics can bite and sting and are never in any pop realm. I am quite happy for you to run me down if you find me in the 'middle of the road' at any time. I prefer the edges.
