About
Bohème's eclectic musical style marries her unconventional, massively visual and often sobering lyrics, with sonic landscapes that meander between folk, classical and electronic music. Melded with her striking choral overtones, she creates mysterious and original pieces that often sit within their own genre. Her cosmopolitan genre-blending can also be attributed to her somewhat peregrine lifestyle, in which she has immersed herself in the music, rhythms and traditions of many cultures, some of which influence, and filter into, her own intrinsic style. In 2023, Bohème recorded a collection of 15 tracks entitled, 'The Tigers of Bardo'. The body of work comprises a mixture of Bohème's original compositions, in addition to covers of folk songs in other languages. Bohème can often be found 'pootling about' with musical ideas on her boat, where she currently resides.
