About

polemica Music to change your life by https://linktr.ee/polemicaband POLEMICA is: Giulio – bass Hilary – vocals Fabio – drums POLEMICA is an international three-piece thinkrock band based in Italy that is preparing to release their fourth LP, HEAR US SCREAM, on June 30, 2026. Our first single, "1 to 8 (won't wait)," can be found here. Follow us at https://bandsintown.com/polemica to find out where and when our next concerts are! POLEMICA (ITA/USA) was formed in 2016. The band recorded its self-produced first album, "Keep Your Laws Off My Mind," in early 2016. The album was promoted with several concerts in Italy and three highly successful European tours between 2016 and 2017. The second album, "Breach," was released in 2018. With subsequent European tours, the band reached an increasingly large and engaged audience. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they created a virtual musical collaboration called "Herstory in 3 Parts: Repeat, Remove, Create," which was released digitally in 2021. The self-produced digital LP "...and now..." was released in 2023 as a digital album with a 7" vinyl cover and proved to be the last album with the original Polemica lineup. And perhaps in response to ...and now..., we will release our fourth album, HEAR US SCREAM, on June 30, 2026. Hilary Binder (vocals) is an American musician who developed her musical career primarily as a drummer and then as a singer. She took her first steps in the legendary punk scene of the 1980s in her hometown of Washington, DC, before moving on to the equally vibrant San Francisco scene, where, for 10 years, she had various projects, including SABOT (the historic math/punk duo). She moved to Europe with SABOT in 1993 and continued to tour actively, performing worldwide and recording numerous albums. She is also a member of the female vocal group she founded, KA?KALA, with which she records and tours, and is the drummer for the improvisational trio RIOT. Giulio Marino (bass) works as a musician in various genres, from punk/new wave to jazz, rock, and experimental. He participates in various projects (MATERIALE RESISTENTE, DI-SORCHESTRA), playing with musicians of various backgrounds. He is currently a member of the improvisational trio RIOT. Fabio Chinca (drums) joined the band at the end of 2025. He takes part in various musical projects in the Roman scene (BRUTOPOP, ASSALTI FRONTALI, PRIMATI, JOE LALLY TRIO, SUZI3).
