About
Hailing from Boston, The Blackboard Nails made their presence known in the Indie Rock scene in 2010. The band's frontman, Eric Deneen, has a captivating presence and writes songs that are catchy, raw and real — songs we can all relate to. Supporting him are Rosie Huntress on backing vox and keys, guitarist Mark McCarthy, bassist Tim Hare, and drummer Ryan Ennis. Each member brings a unique style and energy to the mix that transcends the individuals to create a solid group that epitomizes what a band should truly be like. A sound powered by Stones grooves, inspired rock hooks from The Byrds and The Who, added lyrical sophistication of The Beatles, and sexy, poignant lyrics from Deneen, the group creates haunting harmonies and a sound all their own. The first single entitled "Get Down" from their new album drops Fall 2023.
