Formed in April 2023, The LKG Trio have quickly become one of the most exciting live acts in the South East. A powerhouse three-piece of drums, bass, guitar, and vocals, the band’s unique edge lies in the fact that they can play pretty much anything. Their shows are a high-energy journey across genres, shifting seamlessly from rock & roll and blues to funk, jazz, disco, hip-hop, pop, reggae, rap—and even the occasional nod to Mozart or Beethoven. Led by Leo Kelly-Gee’s electrifying guitar and vocals and anchored by Bex Howarth’s dynamic bass and vocals, The LKG Trio’s chemistry onstage is undeniable. Their live sets are spontaneous—often played without a setlist—meaning no two shows are ever the same. Impactful solos, musical interplay, and a sense of fun define every performance, keeping audiences guessing and fully engaged from start to finish. With a relentless work ethic, playing up to six nights a week (and sometimes multiple shows a day), The LKG Trio have built a reputation as a must-see live band whose energy, versatility, and sheer love of music make every performance unforgettable.
