About
Zuvys are an instrumental blues/doom duo from the UK/Belgium. Formed in 2018, Zuvys released their debut EP ("3") in April 2018, which was based around the concept of numerology. Their second EP ("Before the Fall") was released January 2020, this time the concept was loosely concerning the duality of the self; that which we are, and that which we project to others. Their first album ("Shorelines") is due for release in 2022. With a concept that encompases human progression and guilt, the music slowly ebbs and flows, ending on what is possibly a bittersweet/hopeful theme. The band is heavily influenced by Earth, Kyuss, God is an Astronaut, and Mogwai. Their music is best described as Cinematic Wilderness Blues. Band Lineup: Steve Cowan - Rhythm Guitars, Bass, Keyboards Jef Buelens - Lead and Textural Guitars, Keyboards
