About
In the annals of the vibrant music scene in the city of Hamburg, one name resonates with a timeless allure: Broken Star. Born from the fires of friendship and a shared passion for the anthemic sounds of the 80s, this trio embodies the spirit of alt-rock reinvention. With influences ranging from the grandiose melodies of Simple Minds to the raw energy of U2 and the dark allure of Depeche Mode, Broken Star crafts a sound that's both nostalgic and freshly innovative. After a quarter-century hiatus, the original bandmates, once schoolyard compatriots, reunite with a newfound zeal, channeling years of musical exploration. Broken Star continues to evolve, weaving intricate sonic tapestries that speak to the soul of their homeland while resonating with a global audience hungry for authentic, handmade rock. In an era of fleeting trends and manufactured hits, Broken Star stands as a testament to the enduring power of friendship, creativity, and the unwavering pursuit of musical truth.
