Black & White Recovery provides vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, transport, secure storage and, where offered, vehicle purchase, as described on this site and subject to availability, road and weather conditions.
Wherever we can, we agree an honest price with you before we set off. Final charges depend on distance, time of day, the vehicle and how difficult the job is; out-of-hours and complex recoveries may cost more. Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Storage is charged at the daily rate agreed with you, from the day your vehicle comes into our care until it is collected. You remain responsible for these charges even where an insurer is expected to pay, until they are settled in full. We may keep your vehicle until all recovery and storage charges are paid (a lien), and, after giving you proper notice, may lawfully dispose of a vehicle left uncollected to recover what is owed.
Please remove valuables and personal items before we take your vehicle. We take reasonable care of your vehicle, but we are not responsible for items left inside it, or for pre-existing damage. Please tell us about any existing damage when we arrive.
Where your claim covers recovery or storage, we are happy to deal with your insurer for you, but you remain responsible for any charges your insurer does not pay.
Any offer we make to buy your vehicle is subject to our inspection and to satisfactory proof that you own it and are entitled to sell it. Where you accept an offer, we can offset outstanding recovery and storage charges against the price.
Please give us accurate information and your correct location, make sure it is safe and lawful for us to attend and carry out the work, and confirm you are entitled to authorise it.
We are fully insured and take genuine care of you and your vehicle. Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
If you need to cancel, please tell us as soon as you can. If anything is not right, contact info@blackandwhiterecovery.co.uk and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
