Who is responsible for your information
Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist decides how your information is used and is responsible for it (the "controller"). Contact: Anna through the enquiry form on this website (choose any option and say it is a privacy request). This website, its enquiry inbox and its emails run on the AshDub platform. AshDub processes your information for Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist, on Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist's instructions, to host the site, store and deliver enquiries and send the related emails. AshDub has its own legal duties as a processor, including keeping your information secure, and Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist remains responsible for how your enquiry is handled.
What is collected
When you send an enquiry: your name and email address, the service you are planning, the date or timeframe, the appointment times that could suit you, where the appointment will take place, how many people need makeup and the message you write. The form also records the page you sent it from and a random reference that stops a resent form creating a duplicate. Your IP address is used for about a minute, in the server's memory only, to stop repeated sending; it is not stored with your enquiry. Photographs of you are not collected through this website. You choose what to write in the message. When you visit: the hosting provider receives the technical details every website receives (such as your IP address, browser and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site. Essential browser storage is described on the Cookies page. This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
Why it is used, and the lawful basis
To read and reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to arrange the service: because you asked Anna to (taking steps at your request before any agreement), and in Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist's legitimate interest in answering enquiries. To keep a record of the conversation: legitimate interests, so Anna can follow up what was agreed and deal with any questions or complaints. If you go on to book or buy, records that the law requires (for example for accounts) are kept to meet that legal obligation. To send you a short confirmation that your enquiry arrived: part of handling the enquiry you sent. Optional measurement: only if it is offered (the Cookies page lists anything optional) and only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing. Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist will not send you marketing unless you separately ask for it.
Health and other sensitive information
Please do not send payment card information, identity documents, allergies, skin conditions or medical details through the website form. If information about allergies or sensitivities is needed so that a service can be carried out safely (for example before a lash or brow treatment), Anna will ask how you would like to share it and will use it only for that purpose. That process is being confirmed by Anna and will be described here once agreed.
Who receives it
Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist and the people who work with Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist on your enquiry. AshDub (the platform provider described above) and the providers AshDub uses to run it: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database, stored in the EU, Ireland) and Resend (email delivery). A copy of each enquiry is emailed to Anna's own business mailbox (makeupartistanna.co.uk) so that she can reply to you. Anna is confirming which provider hosts that mailbox; it will be named here once confirmed. When a page loads, the font providers Google Fonts and Fontshare receive your browser's IP address to send the typefaces; they do not receive your enquiry. Your information is not sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers operate in or from the United States (Vercel, Resend, Google) or India (Fontshare). Where information leaves the UK, AshDub relies on recognised UK safeguards, such as the UK and US data bridge for certified providers or the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. The safeguard used for each provider is being confirmed in the data processing agreement between Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist and AshDub and is available on request.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept in Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist's secure enquiry inbox, and in the notification email Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist receives, until Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist deletes them. There is no automatic deletion yet. Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist is confirming a standard retention period and it will be stated here once agreed. You can ask for your enquiry to be deleted sooner at any time, unless it needs to be kept for a legal reason. Email delivery records held by the email provider are kept for a limited period under that provider's terms.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask for its use to be restricted, object to its use, and ask for it in a portable format. Where something relies on your consent you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what happened before. Contact Anna through the enquiry form on this website (choose any option and say it is a privacy request). Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist will reply within one month, and AshDub will help Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist with your request where it holds the information.
Complaints
Please contact Anna Fullbrook Makeup Artist first so the problem can be put right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Everything comes from you, through the form or when you contact us. No decisions about you are made by automated means, and no profiling is carried out.
