About certificates.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes for any work that needs one; the quote says which.

How long should I keep it?

Keep it with your property documents — buyers, landlords and insurers may ask for it.

What is a condition report?

An inspection of the existing installation that lists anything unsafe or needing attention.

What if I've lost a certificate?

Ask the electrician who did the work; the scheme they're registered with may also hold a record.
