A precise illustrated learning path with pending, saved and completed markers

Progress truth

Pending is not saved.

Useful progress is tenant-scoped, versioned and acknowledged. A failed save stays visibly unsaved with a safe retry; refreshing never turns optimism into evidence.

State by state

The interface says exactly what happened.

  1. Current

The lesson presently open; no completion inferred.

  2. Pending

The learner acted and the authorised save is in flight.

  3. Saved

The correct learner, tenant, course and version acknowledged the step.

  4. Needs retry

Nothing advances; the learner keeps their work and can try again.

Completion

A certificate is a result, not decoration.

When is progress complete?

Only when every required distinct step for the same course version is acknowledged and any required assessment genuinely passes.

What does a completion record need?

Course version, required steps, assessment rule and result, learner scope and earned time.

Is it an accredited qualification?

Not unless a named authorised body and exact credential terms have been verified.

What happens after a failed save?

The step remains unsaved. No success motion, percentage or certificate state is shown.

AshDub Learn (sample experience) is a sample business. Its forms, bookings and basket are switched off — nothing you do here is sent, saved or sold.
