Routes

Planned in locks, not miles.

Four miles an hour is the limit, and a lock takes about fifteen minutes. So we plan days you can finish by four.

Good to know

Before you choose a route.

  1. Locks

Two of you work a lock while one steers. We teach both on the first morning.

  2. Mooring

Moor anywhere on the towpath side for up to two days; we mark the pubs with their own moorings.

  3. Water

Fill the tank every other day at the taps we mark on the route card.

  4. Weather

High wind and flood days are called by us; we move your route, never your money.
