Dr Bucur is a general adult psychiatrist. Dr Bucur sees adults aged 18 and over. She routinely assesses and treats a broad range of psychiatric symptoms and disorders.
Depression
Persistent low mood, loss of interest or energy, and the ways it affects work, sleep and relationships.
Anxiety
Worry, panic or tension that has become hard to manage day to day.
Adult ADHD
Assessment and treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in adults aged 18 and over.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Intrusive thoughts and compulsions that take up time or cause distress.
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Difficulties that continue after a traumatic experience.
Bipolar disorder
Periods of low mood and of elevated mood or energy.
Psychosis
Experiences such as hearing or seeing things others do not, or holding unusual beliefs.
Adjustment disorders and stress
Difficulty coping with a significant life change or sustained pressure.

What this practice does not provide
Dr Bucur does not undertake specialised assessments or make treatment recommendations for autistic disorders, substance misuse or eating disorders.
Dr Bucur currently works part-time in the private clinic setting. Patients who need intensive support, or who present with an elevated level of risk, are advised to consider other clinical services that are more appropriate for their urgent needs and care.
