Who is responsible

Dr Mihaela Bucur's practice decides how enquiries are used and is responsible for your information (the “controller”). Contact: office.mbucur@proton.me, 0204 615 4886, London Hill Medical Consulting Rooms, 95 Grays Inn Road, London WC1X 8TX.

The website is built and hosted on the Ashdub platform (ashdub.com), which stores and delivers enquiries on the practice's behalf using its service providers: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (secure database) and, when email notifications are switched on, Resend (email delivery).

What the enquiry form collects

• your name and a reply email address;
• a telephone number, only if you choose to give one;
• how you would like the practice to reply and what your enquiry is about;
• an optional short message of up to 500 characters;
• the time you sent it, and the time you confirmed the two statements on the form.

The form asks you not to include medical history. Because contacting a psychiatrist can itself reveal something about your health, the practice treats every enquiry as sensitive (special category) information. You give explicit consent for it to be used to reply to you when you tick the consent box.

The enquiry record does not store your IP address. The hosting provider processes it briefly to deliver the website and to limit abusive traffic.

How it is used and who can see it

• It is used only to reply to your enquiry and to manage referrals and appointments that follow from it.
• It can be read only by the practice's authorised people after signing in to the secure console. Ashdub's platform administrator can technically access it to operate and support the service.
• Email notifications to the practice contain only a reference number, the type of enquiry and your preferred reply method — never your name, contact details or message.
• If an automatic confirmation email is sent to you, it contains only your reference and general information. It never repeats what you wrote.
• Your enquiry is not used for marketing, advertising or measurement, and is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long it is kept

Enquiry records are deleted automatically 12 months after they are received, and the practice can delete an enquiry sooner. Information that becomes part of your clinical record after a referral is kept under the practice's clinical records obligations, not by this website.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your enquiry, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the practice. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).

Measurement, fonts and links

Optional measurement is off unless you allow it — see Cookies and measurement. This website uses self-hosted fonts and makes no request to third-party font, analytics or advertising services. Links to the NHS, Doctify or a map open those services only if you choose to follow them.

On the home page you can choose to load Doctify's live patient feedback. Only when you press that button does your browser contact Doctify (doctify.com, which also loads its icons from unpkg.com), inside an isolated frame that cannot read this website, its storage or anything you have typed here. Doctify then receives the technical information any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, and Doctify's own privacy notice applies. This website receives nothing back from Doctify apart from whether the feedback loaded, and never stores or records the feedback itself.
