Our story

Fix vehicles the right way. Treat people the right way.

Joshua founded His and Hers Motors in 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, to give Jaguar and Land Rover owners a different kind of garage: expert, honest work without the intimidation or inflated prices people often expect from a dealership. The name reflects how we work. Everyone is welcome, and every customer is treated like part of the family.

How much is a diagnostic check?

Our diagnostic charge is £95 + VAT. It covers the first hour, which is usually enough for us to find the cause. If we need longer, or the car needs work, we'll call you first and nothing more is done until you agree.

What does the diagnostic charge include?

The first hour of diagnosis with genuine Land Rover diagnostic computers and equipment, electrical test equipment and a smoke tester. If we haven't found the cause within that hour, we'll call you to agree the next steps.

Can you update my online service history?

Yes. We update your car's online service record after every visit, which helps keep your manufacturer warranty intact.

Do you carry out warranty repairs?

Yes. We work with private warranty companies, and there's an additional charge for handling the claim.

Will you tell me if a repair isn't worth doing?

Always. If a repair doesn't make financial sense for your car, we'll say so before anything is done.

Do you offer courtesy cars?

Yes, subject to availability. Get in touch to check before you book.

Can you do my MOT?

Yes. We test Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles. Book online, or ask us through the contact form.
