Extended warranty
Terms and conditions.
Please read the key terms before you request the extension. They don’t affect your statutory rights.
1. Coverage
This extended warranty covers both parts and labour, including normal mechanical wear and tear under reasonable use conditions, for eligible repairs carried out by His And Hers Motors Limited.
2. Duration
The extended warranty adds 12 months to your original warranty period, giving you up to 3 years total cover (where applicable).
3. Replacement parts
If a part is replaced under warranty, the replacement part inherits the remaining warranty period from the original part. Example: if six months remain on your warranty when a part is replaced, the new part will also have six months of cover.
4. Repairs & scheduling
All warranty work will be carried out at our soonest convenience, subject to workshop availability and parts supply.
5. Courtesy cars & reimbursements
Courtesy vehicles and cost reimbursements are not automatically included. Courtesy cars may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability and circumstances.
6. Obsolete or discontinued parts
If a part becomes obsolete or unavailable, we may supply and fit an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) alternative or a suitable equivalent.
7. Eligibility
The extended warranty is only valid for customers who have purchased the extension directly from His And Hers Motors Limited; have a valid invoice number and an existing warranty in place; and have not modified or serviced the covered item outside of our premises.
8. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover parts that fail as a result of accidents, impact damage or misuse; parts not supplied or fitted by His And Hers Motors Limited; or indirect costs such as loss of income, downtime, recovery costs or inconvenience.
9. Claims process
To make a claim, contact us with your invoice number and name. We’ll confirm eligibility and arrange any authorised work.
10. Maintenance requirements
To remain valid, the vehicle must be serviced at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals using approved parts and fluids. Evidence of proper maintenance may be requested before warranty work is carried out. The warranty may be void if failure results from poor maintenance, non-approved parts or external workmanship.
11. Inspection before approval
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by His And Hers Motors Limited. We reserve the right to refuse cover if the fault is unrelated to the original work or falls under the exclusions.
12. Liability limitation
Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective part and associated labour. If a failed part causes damage to another component, we will cover the failed part only, not any consequential or secondary damage, nor indirect losses such as recovery costs or loss of earnings.
13. Non-transferable
The extended warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and vehicle listed on the invoice. It does not transfer if the vehicle is sold or ownership changes.
14. Claim notification
Any potential warranty claim must be reported within 7 days of the fault being identified. Delays in reporting may affect eligibility.
15. Tampering or third-party repairs
Any attempt to dismantle, modify or repair covered parts by anyone other than His And Hers Motors Limited will immediately void the extended warranty.
