What an MOT is
A basic visual safety check.
An MOT checks that your vehicle meets the minimum legal safety standards. It’s worth knowing what it doesn’t include:
- It isn’t as thorough as a full service
- Wheels and undertrays aren’t removed
- Fluid levels aren’t topped up
