Terms

Using this website, and booking work with us.

How bookings, estimates and prices work, the role of AshDub, and the statutory rights these terms don’t change.

Draft for review by His And Hers Motors Limited and a qualified adviser · Last updated 11 October 2026

About these terms

These terms cover using this website and the requests you make through it. Work on your vehicle is carried out by His And Hers Motors Limited, 51 Loverock Road, Reading, RG30 1DZ. Your agreement for that work is with us. AshDub provides and hosts this website for us and isn't a party to it.

Bookings and enquiries

A booking made on this website is a request. The date you ask for may not be available, and nothing is booked until we confirm it with you by phone or email.

Estimates and authorising work

We only start work once we've explained what your vehicle needs and you've confirmed you want us to go ahead. Our diagnostic charge is £95 + VAT and covers the first hour of diagnosis. If more investigation or any repair is needed, we'll contact you first with an explanation and an itemised estimate, and nothing more is done until you agree.

Prices

Prices on this website are shown with their qualifiers. A price marked "from" is a starting point that depends on your vehicle and the work needed, and "+ VAT" means VAT is added. We'll confirm the price for your car before we start.

Parts

We'll discuss the parts to be used, including genuine and alternative options, as part of your estimate. If a part is obsolete or unavailable, a suitable OEM or equivalent part may be fitted instead.

Warranty work and extended warranty

If you use an extended or third-party warranty, there is an admin fee for handling the claim, explained on the Warranty Support page. Our own extended warranty has its own terms, set out in full on the Extended Warranty page.

Courtesy cars

Courtesy cars are offered at our discretion and subject to availability.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. As a consumer you're entitled to have work carried out with reasonable care and skill, and to the other protections the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you. We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
