Allianz Arena Tickets & Seating Guide 2026

Take the U-Bahn line U6 (direction Garching-Forschungszentrum) to Fröttmaning station. It is a well-signposted 10-15 minute walk along the Esplanade to the stadium entrance.

The arena is by the A9/A99 motorways and has a large multi-storey car park. Parking must be booked online in advance. Expect very heavy traffic and long delays when leaving after the event.

From Munich Airport (MUC), take the S-Bahn S8 line to Marienplatz. Change there for the U-Bahn U6 towards Garching and alight at Fröttmaning. The total journey time is about 75 minutes.

Munich's central square is full of traditional beer halls like Hofbräuhaus. Have a classic Bavarian beer and meal here before taking the direct U6 train to the stadium.

This is the official fan pub located directly on the stadium's Esplanade. It is the best place for an authentic Bayern Munich atmosphere immediately before entering the ground.

A vibrant square a few stops south of Fröttmaning on the U6 line. It has numerous bars and restaurants, offering a lively pre-match alternative to the city centre.

One of Munich's most famous beer gardens, located near the main Hauptbahnhof station. It stays open late and is perfect for a post-match stein and traditional food.

Services on the U6 run frequently after events but the last train is usually around 1 am. The platforms become extremely crowded, so allow plenty of time or wait for the crowds to thin.

For a classic side view, choose seats in the Haupttribüne or Gegentribüne. For the most passionate atmosphere, the Südkurve is where the hardcore Bayern fans stand. The upper tier (Rang 3) provides excellent, affordable panoramic views.

The stadium is cashless, so you'll need a credit/debit card or an ArenaCard. You can find German classics like bratwurst and pretzels, alongside a great selection of beers. Queues can be long, so go early.

The Allianz Arena is located on the northern outskirts of Munich, so there is very little in the immediate vicinity. Most fans enjoy pre-match food and drink in the city centre around Marienplatz before taking the U-Bahn.
