Getting there
The Etihad Campus stop on the Metrolink tram network (Ashton-under-Lyne line) is a 5 minute walk. Trams run frequently from Manchester Piccadilly station, taking around 15 minutes.
Official parking at the Etihad Campus must be pre-booked online and is cashless. A resident parking scheme is in operation in the surrounding streets, so street parking is not an option.
From Manchester Airport, take a train to Manchester Piccadilly. From there, follow the signs for the Metrolink tram platform and take an Ashton-bound tram to Etihad Campus.
Before the show, after the encore
This central Manchester area is full of independent bars, pubs, and restaurants. Have a drink or meal here before taking the short tram ride from Piccadilly Gardens to the arena.
Known for its fantastic food scene, Ancoats is a 20 minute walk or short taxi ride from the arena. It's home to acclaimed pizzerias and independent breweries.
A traditional pub close to the Etihad Campus on Bradford Road. It's a popular spot for a pre-event pint with a friendly atmosphere, away from the city centre crowds.
Take the tram back to the Northern Quarter or Chinatown where many restaurants and takeaways, like Bundobust or Almost Famous, serve food until late.
Metrolink runs an enhanced service after events, but trams will be very crowded. Consider the dedicated post-event bus services or walking the well-lit 'CityLink' route back to Piccadilly.
What you need to know
The arena's 'black box' bowl design and extensive sound-absorbing materials mean the audio experience is phenomenal, whether you are on the floor or in the upper tiers.
The Metrolink tram is the best way to get here. The Etihad Campus stop is right outside. A dedicated walking route from Holt Town stop is also available on event days.
Co-op Live boasts 32 bars and restaurants and the largest floor space of any UK arena, meaning more room to move and less time queuing for that £8 pint.
The arena is all-electric, powered by renewable energy, and has a zero-waste-to-landfill policy, making it one of the most sustainable venues in Europe.

Is there parking at Co-op Live?
Yes, but it is limited and must be pre-booked online. Given its location on the Etihad Campus, using the Metrolink tram service is strongly recommended.
What can I bring into the arena?
Only one small bag per person that is A4 size or smaller is allowed. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted and there is no bag storage facility at the venue.
Is Co-op Live a cashless venue?
Yes, the arena is fully cashless. You will need to use a credit card, debit card, or mobile payment for all purchases inside, including food, drinks, and merchandise.
