What you need to know
Leipzig's tram system is excellent. Lines 3, 7, 8, and 15 all stop at 'Sportforum Süd' or 'Sportforum Ost', both of which are a short walk from the stadium. Your match ticket often includes free public transport.
Germany operates a cup deposit system (Pfand) to reduce waste. You will pay a small deposit, typically €1-2, for your reusable plastic cup, which is refunded when you return it to a collection point.
The nearby Waldstraßenviertel is a beautiful neighbourhood with stunning architecture. On match days, its pubs and beer gardens, like the popular Gosenschenke 'Ohne Bedenken', are filled with fans.

Getting there
