Lanxess Arena Cologne Tickets & Guide 2026

The arena is next to the Köln Messe/Deutz railway station, a major hub for regional (S-Bahn) and long-distance trains.

Most event tickets include free use of the local VRS public transport network to travel to and from the arena on the day of the event.

For security, only bags smaller than A4 size are permitted. There is a bag deposit container outside for larger items, which costs a fee.

Located on the opposite side of the Rhine from the old town, a short walk over the Hohenzollern Bridge offers stunning views of Cologne Cathedral.

The arena is adjacent to Köln Messe/Deutz station, a major transport hub for regional and high speed trains, as well as local S-Bahn lines.

The U-Bahn stops 'Bahnhof Deutz/Messe' and 'Koelnmesse' are served by lines 1, 3, 4 and 9, providing excellent connections across the city.

The arena is well signposted from the motorway network ('Koelnmesse'). There are four large car parks with over 3,000 spaces available.

The Deutz district has a good selection of restaurants and traditional 'Brauhaus' pubs serving local Kölsch beer, all within walking distance of the arena.

Take a 15 minute walk across the iconic Hohenzollern Bridge for stunning views of Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine before the show.

Just across the river from the arena is Cologne's historic Old Town, packed with pubs, restaurants and beautiful architecture. Allow at least 25 minutes to walk there.

The local bars and pubs in Deutz provide a convenient and less crowded option for a post-show Kölsch compared to the Old Town.

For a greater variety of late night food, head back over the river to the Altstadt, where many eateries and takeaways cater to the late night crowd.
